Busy times of late

Wow it has been over a week since my last post.

Well not much has happened since them except my daughter does not have braces on her teeth. Yay 2 1/2 years of treatment coming to an end.  On Thursday we travelled down to Bendigo, via Wagga Wagga, Albury and Violet Town.  This trip took near 9 hours, Candice did some driving, she own and back so that gave me some sewing time!  I managed to sew 10 hexagon flowers for my Vignette hexagon quilt.

We stayed with the kids aunty which was wonderful.  Corey even came home from uni so Bridie had a great time following him around.

Taking the braces off left Candice feeling slimy!

She looks so different with  no braces.  The retainer she has to wear is nearly invisible.

While we were in Wagga we caught up with Bree Horan our photographer for the Deb and got our disk.  I am more than impressed with the photos she took here are some more.

I have been slowly working on my Friendship challenge.  But I can't post pics as it won't be a surprise.

Bridie has asked for an Easter bag so I am also working on this pics to come when I have finished.  Handsewing is nearly all done but I am heading out West to Wilcannia so I am going to off air for a few days.. Hopefully not as long as last time.

Until next time..happy sewing
