Friends with Benefits swap and swollen rivers

Today I got my swap partner for Friends with Benefits swap.

My swap partner is the gorgeous Leanne.  Check out her blog she is quite a talented lady.
I have begun thinking about what I would love to make Leanne and have some ideas brewing.

Today has been quite harrowing for some residents of Forbes with the threat of the river peaking on Tuesday morning causing havoc at Woolies this morning.  I am quite safe as I am up on higher ground, the cupboards are all stocked which is not unusual so we are ready if the town gets divided in half.  Candice is in Balranald/Swan Hill atttending an orthodontics appointment and may have to sit tight if she can't get back.  School for both her and Talia is closed at the moment with updates sent out via email.  Bridie will have minimal supervision at her school but as it is safe for her to attend she is going to attending school.

I have managed to do some sewing today as it has been quite wet underfoot.
I sewed some more iPhone, iPod covers for the school fete which is to be held on March 16th.

Good news!!!! Deb Dress has been collected from the shop and is just beautiful mum said.  So all is going to plan...

Off to stitch some more, may join some Rose Stars together just like Michelle

Until next time.. happy stitching..

I hope the school stays safe.
I'm glad that you have the cupboard stocked.
Let's just pray that the rain stops for a while.
