Shopping in Cobar

Well it is like this....

We started out from Broken Hill early Friday morning and stopped briefly in Wilcannia to get some paperwork.

We arrived in Cobar in time for lunch. We parked on a side street and walked in the opposite direction to the patchwork shop!

We had a great meal at the Gecko in the Main Street. We did wait a while so I did think it possible to duck in to Cobar Patchwork but I didn't.

Until...
We swapped around travellers and cars and I happened to be in the one that had to drop off a colleague in Cobar. How exciting for me as I had ten minute window to go to the shop.

I walked and I was greeted by a lovely lady who showed me the sales. I bought the fabric from the sale items.

I bought some goodies and while the package was being bagged up my ride pulled in. Phew!!!! I made it.

This is what I bought.
A cute owl drawstring bag kit.
Scissors.
An ornament pattern
Five Xmas fabric fat quarters.

I was very happy.
