Sydney Day One

After a 5am start, a four hour train ride from Canberra we arrived safe and sound in Sydney.

During the ride I was able to blanket stitch some of my playing around from yesterday.

My Aunty and cousin were waiting for us at Central station, and it was so good to see them. They had news that my two other cousins and their children were also meeting us.

We all walked from Central down to Pitt Street mall on the way we booked in to our motel and dropped off our luggage.

Here is Bridie with my cousins youngest daughter Emily at lunch. This was after we saw a friend from Forbes.

Before the girls, mum and I walked down to circular quay and had a coffee from Starbucks I ran in to one of the teachers and a good friend of mine from Hillston. Was great to see Emma and meet her husband Ben and the three kids.

We walked all the way back to our motel,  4 Kms up Pitt Street and had a bit if a rest.

Dinner was eaten at Macchiatos, a woodfire pizza oven restaurant right near
Where I attend many meetings for work!

Here it is 8pm and already the girls are asleep. We have two king size beds in the room.

Here is Bridie sleeping up the wrong way.

Mum is playing games on her phone while I write this post.

Tomorrow:

- Paddy's market
- Darling Harbour
- meeting cousins and aunties
the Lion King stage show.  I went when it was in Melbourne and wanted to take the girls so very excited we all are.
