Today was wonderful...
It started when I dropped Talia off to my sister at the Canberra Dog Show. She was there for most of the day.
Mum, Candice and I arrived at the Canberra Quilt Show at 9.40am and waited for Wanda Taylor to arrive with my ticket. When she did we all went in doors and was greated with 9 aisles of craft.
First to attract my attention was the designers of Gollyville they had number 2 up on display along with Gollies from around the world and a dancing set of gollies. I resisted and walked past.
I found Laura from Crafty Frog and said hello to her and saw her great new wool on display.
Up and down the aisles I went. I had to stop at Blue Willow Cottage and bought a couple of their patterns.
I am not going to display these as I am unsure who or what I am going to do with them.
I went to the staff which had all Nancy Halvorsen patterns, kits and fabric. I so wanted to buy some and thought I would have to come back. When I returned I bought the following of the Garden Song range of fabric as seen below...
I found Somerset quilting and it was here I bouht my 1 inch hexagon papers.
I also bought a gorgeous pattern for lavender bags from Miss Sampson's Drapery.
Candice also chose a jelly roll that she is going to make a quilt with, the pattern she is going to use is one I bought from Boorowa.
I will post pictures of the patterns later on...
I am getting some new glasses, they will be ready next week.. not sure how or when I am going to get them, they look cool...
I took Talia and Bridie to see Glee Live 3D was fantastic..Talia moved away as I was singing.
We also went out for tea, yummo..
back home
I would walk away from you too if you stated singing. I so hated when Mum would sing in the Supermarket....So embarassing.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you had a great time at the Show.
And I love the fabric too..........
