Silent Monday mornings

It is the beginning of the school holidays here in NSW, Australia.
I have 'farmed' my girls out for the first week fo the holidays and I am going to work for the week.
It is quiet here and I am enjoying drinking a hot coffee and eating my toast.

I spent some of the weekend travelling two hours away to meet the girls father, then travelled on to the next town to begin some Christmas shopping.  On the way back home after shopping I passed my father-in-law as he travelled north to Queensland, he is dropping in on the way home for a night, I think!

I joined twitter over the weekend, @SimoneHarding1 is my reference.  Still learning about what to do but I am sure it will get easier as I get more proficient at it.

I wanted to begin stitching My Favourite Sewing Basket but when I opened the pattern the templates for the designs were not there.  I am not sure if they are meant to be in the pattern or if I just choose my own.  I have email the writer and will see what comes in the mail this week if anything!

I did manage to put together sets of hexagons for my Vignette Hexagon quilt, I have 28 flowers to put together now.  When Candice comes home I am thinking she needs to do some driving so I can do some sewing!

I have selected some fabric for my Scissor Keeper swap for Wendy. I am hoping she is going to like what I am going to making.

Here is a sneak peak for some fabric I have chosen!  Not sure about my choice, bu it is only the beginning...
