My scissor keeper swap has arrived....

I am so excited by scissor keeper swap hosted by Cookies and Cream  has arrived in the USA and by the comments I read Wendy loved it.  You can read all about it here.

Here is what I sent....

A basket from Hatched and Patched pattern, My Favourite Basket and sewing accessories..

Here is a picture of the accessoreis as well as some lollypop fabric..

I have been away this weekend, but managed to stitch the numbers on the Advent Calendar Bridie and I are making...

Here is a sample....

I also stitched 2 blocks from Tis the Season....

I was not a part of the Stitch a Long but loved watching the quilt come together so I am going to tackle it and have it ready for Christmas 2012.

Even though I was a away for 3 days I only managed to catch up with a few friends..  Time is always precious...  While I dropped in to see Michelle I just had to take up the offer of 25% off shop wide.  I bought some gorgeous flannels which I am going to use for a raggy quilt for my daughter's birthday next winter.

Here is the selection of fabrics...
The reds

The greens

The neutrals.

I said a couple of posts ago that I would share a picture of my eldest daughter and her 'date' before they went to the Junior Dinner Dance.  From all accounts they had a great time.

Now I best got and iron some school uniforms and pack some bags as I am off again in the morning.  This time I am going to be near the Queensland border in Bourke.  The past few days I have travelled from New South Wales, into Victoria and up close to the Queensland border..  I really do love my job and I am excited to be heading out west....

Happy stitching...
