Youth Mass

I am not someone who shares my faith in this forum but today is an exception.

Last nights mass was led by the youth and my goodness it was fabulous. The church was full, the songs chosen were uplifting, the band was amazing. Even at the end the year 12 students got up and danced to the song they had sung at the recent retreat.

Very proud of my daughter Talia for choosing to become a Eucharistic minister. She stood up last night with other year 11 and 12 students to be commissioned. She was presented with a framed certificate endorsed by the Bishop Columba Macbeth-Green and Father Barry Dwyer.

At times I couldn't even sing I was choked up with emotion as the church is not so lively on normal days.

I am off to babysit today and with only 700 words to write I am hoping that by this evening I can print off my essay to read over and submit before Friday.
