Parcel in the box 12 inch mini swap

Monday I revived another parcel in the post. 

It was from Ondrea. 

Look at the gorgeous wedding ring quilt card - this is the envelope. 

And oh my goodness a gorgeous mini, yes my favourite colour is blue too! 

I also received these threads which will be used in some Xmas sewing I plan to work on too.

Thank you so much Indrea for making this mini for me and to Cheryll for hosting this swap for us all.

Peg has shocked me...

Peg sent me my Mothers Day mini today.

Bridie thought I left something in Narromine- she found the parcel when she for home from school!

I am so so so so loving my mini that was made by Peg. It is exactly me! I love the stitchery and the fabric. The stitches are so perfect and the variegated thread just sets it off.

There was also some extra goodies as well.

Most of Pegs gifts I had spotted on her blog and loved them. Now they will have pride of place in my home.

I have to now go and buy a quilt stand for my quilt. Any suggestions??

Peg, thank you so much for the gorgeous mini you gave me and all of those goodies. You are truly a generous lady.

Mothers Day mini parcel arrived

The parcel I sent yesterday arrived safe and sound under 24 hours after I posted it off.

I was sitting at my desk at work when my mobile chimed, there was a new text message.

The text was from Peg letting me know my parcel had arrived and she would open it at lunch.

All I thought was hope she likes it. At lunch I got another message. Peg had opened my parcel and she loved it. I also sent some chocolates which I hope Peg also enjoys.

This is my Mother's Day mini quilt.
I am sewing the binding on, ( got some facetime help from Kylie!).

I am adding one of Cheryll's labels to the back.

Good Friday 2013...

Today we remember the journey Jesus took which resulted in his death and resurrection.

Today is also a public holiday, no work today....

An early start today as Candice came and took the girls to meet their father at Rankin Springs. Candice is returning to Forbes and the other two will come back on Monday.

I have a few goals for this weekend.

My plan of attack is to work very hard on one of the Assignments for the university course I am enrolled in.

Tonight I will sew.
Tomorrow back to study.
Saturday night dinner at a friends.
